In 2002 Tabor Services Inc. provided a comprehensive range of services to nearly 5200 children and families in southeastern Pennsylvania and nearby New Jersey through three separately incorporated divisions. Tabor Children's Services Inc. served nearly 3700 clients through foster care, adoption, in-home services, adolescent initiative training, independent living services, abuse prevention services and such mental health services as an outpatient mental health clinic, community residential rehabilitation services, a supported living arrangement, a social rehabilitation program and a mental health foster care program. Tabor Children's House Inc. served nearly 200 children through a year-around day care program for children from infancy through kindergarten-age, a school-age child care program and an enrichment day camp program during the summer for school-age children. Southern Home Services Inc. served more than 1300 children and families through its school-based tutoring, after-school computer club, parenting classes and in-home counseling and such outreach services as free food, clothing and furniture, and housing assistance.
