Pre-Service Training |
|
Pre-service training is only for prospective foster/adoptive parents who
have not achieved full licensure. These training sessions will not
satisfy the training mandate for already licensed foster parents and thus
will not count towards the 24 hour training requirement for fully licensed
homes. Pre-service will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:30
PM at the Armat St. office. The pre-service training session
schedule is as follows. The pre-service training session for the
remainder of the year will be announced prior to the conclusion of the first
series of sessions. All sessions will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.
If you arrive late you will not be given credit for the entire session. |

Ongoing Training |
|
Ongoing training is for foster parents who have been fully approved and
licensed and need training hours to maintain their approval status. All
foster parents are required to complete 24 training hours each training
year. The Tabor training year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30. |
