The boundaries of this region include Lincoln Drive, Walnut Lane, Wayne Avenue, West Queen Lane, Germantown Avenue, Stenton Avenue, East Wister, Wister, Wyncote Avenue, Haines Street, North 15th Street, West Cheltenham Avenue, Ivy Hill Road, Stenton Avenue, Northwestern Avenue to the Schuylkill River
COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD
The development the Community Advisory Board (CAB) is based on the fact that public child welfare systems need to partner with communities to provide the strongest, most accountable services to children, youth, and families.
Membership on the CAB represents the diversity of the community and include community members, business owners and religious and community leaders. Learn more about the TCP CAB here.
One of the innovative practices that TCP has implemented are Parent Cafes. Parent Cafes are designed to engage parents in meaningful dialogs about what matters most — their families. A Parent Cafe event involves all stakeholders, resource providers and community members. We believe that this will provide an excellent opportunity for all participants to communicate and build sustaining relationships in a casual, non-threatening manner in a community setting. Learn more here about Parent Cafes. TCP is always looking for opportunities to partner with community organizations and local businesses who wish to host a Parent Cafe. Please feel free to contact us for more information about hosting a parent cafe at your community organization or business!
